OUR STORY

With the help of family, friends, and the community Hayes’ Public House has gone from a dream to a reality. Hayes’ Public House is known for being Buffalo’s first and only brewery and Wright County’s first brewery since prohibition.  Hayes’ has now become a staple in the community of Buffalo, a gathering place for all walks of life looking to enjoy good conversation, a pint of craft beer and the occasional live music all housed in our cozy pub.  We brew mostly traditional British ales, with added twists. Our motto “Inspired Old Ales” has given us the inspiration to take some of those traditional ales to new levels.

Hayes Public House Brewery

BREWERY

Through his travels to Ireland, head brewer Pugs Hayes has since brought back with him ideas on how to take traditional ale recipes and give them new life. At Hayes’ we brew small batches on our 3bbl system, hand crafted in America by Portland Kettle Works. We double-batch into our 7bbl tanks also hand crafted in America by Portland Kettle Works.

TAP ROOM

Our tap room and bar was constructed all by family, friends, and Buffalo locals. We wanted to create a feel of Ireland’s pub culture from the décor, music, and most importantly the hospitality. From the chairs, church pews, and stain on the woods, everything was picked to give the customer a feel of Ireland.

Mon-Tue – Closed
Wed.-Thurs – 5-10 PM
Fri-Sat – 3-10 PM
Sunday – 2 -7 PM (Closed Easter Sunday)

FOOD OPTIONS

Bring Your Own We make beer, not food. But that doesn’t mean you can’t bring it into the tap room. Bring your own or order from a local restaurant and have it delivered to the tap room.

Food Trucks Occasionally we’ll have some the finest food trucks from surrounding areas and the metro. They conveniently park right outside our door for easy access. Some of our favorites include:
